In the backdrop of rapid industrialization in our country, confronted with challenges of globalization and economic recession, it is our academic objective to conduct management courses that provide a special cadre of human resource as ‘Managers’ by diversifying from conventional methods of academic training to that of ‘competency building’ in students, to sustain and grows as a potential supplier of intellectual capital to the industry and the business sector.

Education is a process of human enlightenment and empowerment for the achievement of better and high quality life. The sound and effective system of education always results in unfolding of students’ potentialities, enhancement of their competencies, attitudes and values.
The scientific, cultural and economic development of the country depends of the quality of the population. The quality of the population depends on the education system.

There is great need to plan, to manage change in the context of globalization for heightening economic activities with in the country to achieve economic independence. So now a days there is change of shift from capital-intensive economic activity to knowledge based economic activity.  The creation of knowledge-based economy depends on the interactions among the higher education institutions, industrial houses and government. The interaction influences the promotion and improvement of competitiveness of small scale and medium sized industries through application of modern and efficient technologies.

India is the seventh largest and second most populous country in the world, now started to promote knowledge base industries by building science and technology parks, and technology businesses. It is trying to bring out the economic reforms, and achieving stimulating growth of knowledge based economy as well as enhancing foreign direct investments. This attitude put India into the ranks of rapidly growing country in the Asian and Pacific region.

Higher education has a key role to play in the education system. India has approximately 185 universities and 42 deemed universities, which have approximately 11000 colleges where higher education is given.

Pune is trying to keep pace with current IT developments and advancements. Thus there is demand for software professionals as well as Managers to fulfill the requirements in IT sector and application Industries.

As a part of social responsibility and contribution towards society, zeal Education Society has decided to start Post Graduate Management and Technical Education Institute in the vicinity of Pune.
   
In order to step ahead into the field of management, Zeal Education Society, after successfully running a School (from pre-primary to junior college section), is entering in the field of Management Education.

BACKGROUND OF THE CONSULTANTS

The Founder Director Shri. S. M. Katkar is an Educationist. He is an industrialist by profession. He owns three SSI units i.e. Zeal Enterprises, Zeal Industries (ISO 9000 & 9001) and Zeal Engineers. He is also a consultant of V S Engineers and Setu Engineers for Refrigeration field. Zeal group of Industries is also a supplier for Alfa Laval Ltd, Pune, PMT Machine Tools, Pune, Indo Shottel India Pvt. Ltd. Pune, Hy-Power Clamps India Ltd Pune, Kirloskar Pneumatic Ltd. Pune, Atlas Capco India Ltd . Pune etc.
A Bachelor with honours in arts and a Law Graduate, he worked as a Superintendent cum Office Administrator in Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. He also is the founder and Vice-President of Sinhagad Technical Education society, Pune(1993-95).

Mr. Anand Umasa Katare is another consultant. He has an experience of about 35 years in the field of engineering. He is the proprietor of a small scale unit named Ganga Engineers. He also is a consultant for the under maintenance machines.

Mr. Sarjerao T. Poman is a diploma holder in mechanical engineering. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of industries. He is the proprietor of Nirmal industries that manufactures and supplies precision components.
